At a recent awards ceremony in London attended by agents large and small from all across the country, one of the Westcountry’s leading independent agencies was recognised as the best agency of its kind in the country.

Wilkinson Grant & Co with just two offices in Exeter and Topsham received the Estate Agency of the Year 2006 Gold Award for the Best ‘Small’ Estate Agency in the UK.

Judged by a panel which included a past president of the National Association of Estate Agents and its new President elect, leading property journalists and experienced agents who were overseen by the Ombudsman for Estate Agents, Wilkinson Grant & Co came out tops above a long list of nominations which included some of the most well-known and longer established household names.

Agency principal Roger Wilkinson, took the opportunity to publicly thank his growing agency team and also to thank clients past and present who have given the agency the opportunity to show what makes them different from their competitors.

“This is a prestigious award that is seen in the industry as a ‘badge of recognition’ both in standards and performance.
