We are delighted to award our three fantastic winners following our recent competition to design our new ‘Welcome to your New House’ cards.
We asked Devon school children to draw their vision of a perfect home. We had an overwhelming response to the competition and received over 300 entries.
The Wilkinson Grant team, along with Christina Hull of Barc Architects, were given the difficult task of selecting the winners of the competition and, after much deliberation, selected three that really stood out.
We are pleased to award Carole Saunders, aged 5 from Bovey Tracey Primary School, with the first prize, a family annual pass to some of the county’s top family attractions; Paignton Zoo, Living Coasts and Newquay Zoo, for her delightful yellow home complete with red love heart. Carole’s design will also be featured on our new upcoming ‘Welcome to your New House’ cards will are set for release this Summer.
The second prize, a membership to Junior Chiefs and an Exeter Chiefs goody bag, was awarded to Amelie Heath, aged 9 from Culmstock Primary School. Her design stood out amongst the Wilkinson Grant team for its attention to detail in the garden which included an ivy coverage frontage and drawing of herself.
The final prize was gifted to Eva Newbold, aged 8 from Culmstock Primary School for her fantastic brightly coloured drawing which featured a huge walk in wardrobe and luxury bubble bath. She was awarded with a family pass to Crealy Adventure Park.
Several runners up prizes were also donated by Woodlands Theme Park, Saddles & Paddles, Exeter Golf and Country Club, The Big Sheep, Diggerland, Clip and Climb and Quinces Honey Farm.
Thank you to all those that took part in the competition and congratulations to our three well deserved winners.
