Description

Are you looking for a totally unique and stylishly quirky home surrounded by stunning country-cottage gardens and set in the peaceful countryside? Then this property could well be your dream home!
West Lodge was originally built for Lord Cable, the owner of Lindridge House in Circa 1920's and is simply beautifully elegant and would sit perfectly in a feature of The Country Living magazine. The current owners have poured their heart and soul into the place adding a huge amount of character and charm along the way. Think sash windows, high ceilings, ornate fireplaces and decorative ceiling cornices. Not to mention the plentiful amounts of stained glass detail and arched doors and windows.
The property is perfectly positioned on the 1/3 acre plot with far reaching farmland views and is full of beautifully stocked flowerbeds, meandering paths that lead to hidden away areas like the chicken run and even has a large home office in the grounds. The garden looks lovely all year round but really does come into its own in the summer! It is a gardeners paradise.
