So that you can put a name to the face, here is an overview of the key staff at Wilkinson Grant & Co who work together as a team to help you move.
At work: Roger has worked in the local property market for around 35 years, dealing in the sale and acquisition of all types of residential, commercial, development and investment property.
At home: Father of six, Roger is a former chairman of the Exeter Estate Agents Association has sat on the influential Advisory Panel for the Guild of Professional Estate Agents.
At work: Sophie joined Wilkinson Grant in 2015 and is the Head of Operations. Having lived in and around Exeter for more than 10 years and also worked in the letting industry she has a good knowledge of the local property market. At home: Whilst not the biggest fan of exercise the family German Shepherd, Sheba, can always convince her to go for a walk in the beautiful countryside near where she lives! Sophie also enjoys spending time with family and meeting up with friends in her spare time.
At work: Gabby has been with Wilkinson Grant & Co since 1999 after moving down from Hertfordshire. Her role over those years has been varied. She now works as a Senior Client Relationship Manager within New Homes and Land & Development departments.
At home: At weekends Gabby enjoys spending time with her family, long country walks, weekends away and trying to keep her ever exuberant cat Jimmy under control!.
At work: Joel has been with Wilkinson Grant, based in the Topsham office since 2007 and managed the office for over 5 years. He has also lived in the area for over 12 years and over this time has developed a specialist knowledge of all types of property in the Exe Estuary area and has a full appreciation of what makes the area such a special place to live. At home: Joel is a keen sailor and makes use of the excellent water sports facilities on the River Exe and when not working or on the water enjoys the outdoors with his young sons, in particular the Estuary Cycle path.
At work: Wendy joined the company in 2004 and has worked in a number of different roles within the business over the years. As Head of People, Learning and Culture Wendy is part of the management team working closely with Roger. At home: Originally from London, Wendy lives in the Blackdown Hills and thoroughly enjoys the outdoor life with her puppy, Alfie. Most weekends she can be found running around the Devon lanes – a necessity to counteract her love of wine and chocolate!
At work: Lynne joined Wilkinson Grant & Co in 2012 after many years of working as a Conveyancer for a well-established local firm of Solicitors. With her legal experience she brings something unique to the team and this, together with her extensive local knowledge, means exchanges and completions are agreed much quicker.
At home: In her spare time Lynne enjoys watching Exeter Chiefs, cooking, planning her next holiday and when she can she makes time to help raise funds for FORCE.
At work: Debbie has worked in the financial sector for many years, including being a Finance Manager for Hospiscare. At home: Debbie grew up in Simouth and lived by the sea. In her spare time, she enjoys nothing more than an outdoor activity, such as water sports, hiking or travelling.
At work: James has been helping people move in Exeter and the surrounding area for almost 30 years now. James is an Exonian and his local knowledge and expertise are second to none. At home: He is an avid follower of the Grecians and lives on the city outskirts with his wife and three sons.
At work: Holly has recently joined Wilkinson Grant & Co Lettings Department after being in the housing industry for 8 years. Holly has sold and let houses in Sussex, Surrey and Somerset and has now moved to Exeter with her partner after visiting the area so often.
At home: Holly’s hobby is being in her garage with her paint brushes and her easel creating abstract artwork. If the sun is shining you will find Holly exploring different local beaches.
At work: James has well over 20 years' experience working in a wide variety of residential markets, from Prime Central London to the rural South Hams having sold and acquired property for clients from all over the world, both for investment, development and the dream home. At home: James is happiest out in the country side going for long walks with the family and Cocker Spaniel, or by a roaring fire watching the rugby in the village pub.
At work: Jenny joined Wilkinson Grant & Co. in April 2018. Previous to this she worked for five years within the estate agency field so brings with her an excellent knowledge of the local area. At home: Having recently purchased a property in need of modernising Jenny is enjoying carrying out the renovation. When she is not working on the house and garden she likes to spend time with her family exploring Devon and Cornwall in their camper van.
At work: Daniel has worked in varying roles within Wilkinson Grant & Company since its formation in 1995. Along with his general agency duties, he helps to identify and assists with the acquisition and sale of both residential, commercial, development and conversion opportunities.
At Work: Kate joined Wilkinson Grant at the end of 2021 with a new venture in the New Homes department. She has over 4 years’ experience working as a sales negotiator for independent agents and 10 years experience in customer service in the hospitality industry. Kate thoroughly enjoys the buzz of assisting Clients with their sale and purchase and being a part of helping them move on successfully with the next chapter of their lives. At Home: Kate lives with her partner Joe in Topsham and is happiest when exploring the coast/Dartmoor with a pub stop or two on the way or being at Sandy Park with friends watching the Exeter Chiefs.
At work
Kevin was born in Exeter and has over 30 years’ experience in the local property market primarily in Exeter & East Devon. Since joining the company in 2004 Kevin has worked in both Exeter and Topsham offices, recently moving back to the busy Exeter branch.
At home
Kevin lives in the city with his wife Nicky and their son who has recently returned from University. Spare time is spent with family and his 2 year old granddaughter, going to the gym, walking and following local non-league football.
At work: Lisa joined Wilkinson Grant in 2018 as the New Homes Manager. Lisa now heads up the new homes department and she brings with her a wealth of experience after 19 years of working within Agency and the Land and New Homes industry.
At home: Lisa lives in South Devon with her husband and 2 young children who absorb a lot of her time. She enjoys family bike rides, painting, and spending time on the beach.
At work: Giles has an enthusiastic and knowledgable approach and comes with over 20 years of experience in Exeter and the surrounding areas. Having joined Wilkinson Grant in 2006 he is a valued senior member of the Exeter team and very much enjoys building long lasting relationships with his clients.
At home: Giles lives in the Exe valley with his wife Abi and their four daughters. They enjoy spending their spare time in North Devon where the girls are learning to surf. Giles enjoys country walks, is a national trust member and has a keen interest in wildlife. He is also avid follower of the Exeter chiefs and all things to do with rugby.
At Work: Sydney joined the Exeter Sales office in September 2021. With over 10 years experience in customer service, Sydney enjoys talking to clients and helping them with the buying and selling process and providing the best possible service. She has a great knowledge of the local area, having lived near Exeter all her life. At Home: Sydney is happiest when socialising with her friends and family, especially if that includes a glass or two of Prosecco!
At work: Kayley joined Wilkinson Grant in November 2020 and has worked within the property industry for over 5 years. She has extensive knowledge of the East Devon housing market and the Lettings process and regulations. At home: In her spare time, Kayley enjoys trying new restaurants and exploring the coast with her partner in their campervan.
At work: Helena joined Wilkinson Grant in June 2017 and has been working in Estate Agency for seven years. Helena prides herself in giving a high level of customer service. At home: In Helena’s spare time, she enjoys going on walks with her beloved puppy and planning her next holiday with her husband Aaron.
At Work: Leah joined the Exeter Sales office in November 2021 having worked in customer service roles for over ten years. At Home: Leah enjoys spending time with her large family, baking cupcakes and taking her crazy Staffie puppy on walks and adventures around the Devon countryside.
At Work: Judith joined the Topsham office in 2018 after a career at British Airways and in teaching. Personalized customer service is her goal assisting buyers to find their perfect home. Having moved 10 times she can empathise with the emotional journey for both vendors and buyers.
At Home: Judith lives in Topsham having moved to Devon in 2013 to be near family in Exmouth. She is happiest with friends and family round her table especially when her children are home from university. When time allows she enjoys travelling and enjoys staying with friends both at home and abroad.
At work: Emma joined Wilkinson Grant & Co in 2006. Emma works in the Topsham office, where she enjoys going for walks along the estuary during lunchtime. She aims to give a high level of customer service when helping both Vendor clients and potential buyers and takes pride in her attention to detail when creating marketing materials. At home: Emma and her husband bought their first property together in 2009, then moved ‘up the ladder’ to Kenton in 2015, so have experienced the selling process too!
At Work: Kate joined Wilkinson Grant in Jan 2021 bringing with her a wealth of experience in property sales and sales progression. Her excellent communication skills, liaising with all parties throughout the process in a calm manner results in a swift and less stressful transaction. At Home: Exeter born and bred but now chooses to live on the coast at Teignmouth although has moved herself over 20 times all around the UK. She enjoys paddle boarding and beach walks with her 2 Miniature Schnauzers and her teenage daughter, watching the sun go down with a G&T and trips to Normandy where her partner Keith has a Christmas Tree farm.
At Work: Hannah joined Wilkinson Grant in the Summer of 2021 as part of the letting team. She has worked as an Estate Agent in Plymouth and Newton Abbot and is excited to learn about the Exeter area. At home: Hannah lives in Torquay by the sea and enjoys going out on her paddleboard with the partner. On the weekends she likes to relax with friends and family with a glass of wine.
At work: Joanna has previously worked in Sales and Lettings based roles both in Gloucestershire and Devon. At home: Twenty years ago she moved to Devon to be close to the sea, and now lives in Honiton with her family and enjoys walking her dog, Oakley in East Devon and playing golf at Axecliff, Seaton.
At work: Sonya joined Wilkson Grant in December 2020 bringing with her a wealth of experience and knowledge of lettings and property management. Sonya prides herself in providing excellent customer service to all her clients. At home: Living in Bishopsteignton she spends her spare time by the sea and the countryside and enjoys walking and rowing.
At work: Gemma joined Wilkinson Grant and Company in 2015 as a client and sales co-ordinator concentrating on the South Devon area and comes with several years of estate agency under her belt. At home: Gemma loves living a village life in Bishopsteignton with her husband and young daughter where hours are spent in their garden growing their own vegetables and caring for the chickens and guinea pigs. Gemma takes pride in building great working relationships with clients whilst maintaining high levels of attention to detail.
At work: Leigh joined Wilkinson Grant & Co in 2016. Bringing with her experience in sales management, she prides herself in providing a high level of customer service. At home: Having recently relocated home to Devon from Bath, Leigh is very much enjoying the country life with her husband. In her spare time she loves to indulge in her passion for sunny and snowy holidays and, of course, fantastic food and wine!
At work: Jonathan represents the Wilkinson Grant Residential Investment and Development team. He principally focuses on the sale or acquisition of residential investment property across Devon. His instructions range from small scale development sites, to established portfolio sales. Jonathan is a RICS Chartered Surveyor and read Real Estate (BSc Hons) at the University of Reading.
At home: Having grown up on a farm in Devon, Jonathan gets involved with most outdoor pursuits. His favourite sports include Motocross, cycling, skiing and wake boarding. If he is not finding his next hit of adrenaline outside, he is recovering in a bar.
At work: Karen joined the Topsham office in June 2015. She relocated to Topsham from London in 1995, where she worked for English Heritage in the listed buildings department. She has also lived in Woodbury and more recently Lympstone. Her excellent local knowledge of the East Devon area is particularly useful to clients looking to relocate to the area.
At home: She and her husband are kept busy with their three sons who have a wide range of interests.
At work: Carol joined the Wilkinson Grant & Co Topsham office in April 2011. Carol and her husband relocated to Devon in 2005 from London where she worked as a Property Underwriter.
At home: When not working, Carol enjoys running and spending time enjoying all that Devon has to offer with her young family.
