They will guide you through the sale process, understanding both the property and your preferred timescales to get the property sale Exchanged and Completed. Before your chosen solicitor can open a file or do any work for you, you will need to provide your proof of identity documents to them. They will also help collate and complete all the necessary paperwork, including:

For properties that are not Ready to Sell, issuing draft contracts typically takes 3 to 7 working days after the memorandum of sale.
In contrast, when a property is fully prepared and marked as Ready to Sell, we’ve seen draft contracts issued the same day the memorandum of sale is released. This significant time saving can lead to a faster, smoother transaction and reduce the risk of delays.
